Abstract

VILLANUEVA GESTEIRA, María Dolores. Las relaciones entre la Editorial Galaxia y la diáspora argentina, una red por tejer (1950-1966). Olivar [online]. 2016, vol.17, n.25, e007. ISSN 1852-4478.

Argentine helped to set the Editorial Galaxia, founded in 1950, project as the main migrant-receiving country from Galician exile. For two decades, they collaborated with financial support as well as spreading published books. With a network of well-established associations, the relationship between “inland Galicia” and “Galicia abroad” was strong; therefore it was possible to perform common actions, subsidize works and keep alive the project to provide the Galician language with a cultured literature and periodical publications. It took philology as its guiding principle, with the intention of identifying the language and its literary discourse.

Keywords : philological criterion; network; exile; emigration; Editorial Galaxia..
