Abstract

MARTINEZ ARRIZABALAGA, María Victoria. Patria: ¿Desde un pasado dividido a un futuro compartido? El relato después de la violencia según Fernando Aramburu. Olivar [online]. 2019, vol.19, n.30, pp.62-62. ISSN 1852-4478.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.24215/18524478e062.

Fernando Aramburu (San Sebastián, 1959) exhibits in Patria (2016) his version of the story of more than thirty years of life in Euskal Herría, and his personal position about the presence and action of ETA in the life of the community. Through the narrated events he proposes other forms of readability of the comunitye, tentatively orienting a new historical and social conscience that leaves the violence definitively behind. The author acknowledges that "the story about ETA's violence does not yet exist [...] is still to be built and can not be done by just one person"; for which, he considers his work "as a contribution, as one more piece of the mosaic of the story" (Aramburu in Sainz Borgo, 2016).
