Abstract: In this article we argue how the supraunit level of the data matrix intervenes in the formulation of the problem situation of an investigation (Samaja, 1993), creating what we could designate as a veiled proto-hypothesis, framed in the textuality of said situation. This allows objectifying the abductive hypothesis (Peirce, 1970) that enables the writing of the final hypothesis.
