Abstract

TRONCOSO-PALACIOS, Jaime. Revisión del estatus taxonómico de Liolaemus filiorum Pincheira-Donoso y Ramírez, 2005 (Iguania: Liolaemidae). Cuad. herpetol. [online]. 2014, vol.28, n.2, pp.111-117. ISSN 1852-5768.

Here I review the taxonomic status of Liolaemus filiorum (L. montanus group, Eulaemus subgenus), a poorly known species described based only on two specimens. By studying its description and holotype, I concluded that L. filiorum is a junior synonym of L. puritamensis. Additionally, I provide a comparison between L. puritamensis and some related species.

Keywords : montanus group; description; junior synonym; Antofagasta.
