Abstract

MALDAVSKY, David. The research of violence in the intersubjective processes with the David Liberman algorithm (DLA): Sample, research strategies, instruments, procedures. Subj. procesos cogn. [online]. 2010, vol.14, n.1, pp.155-186. ISSN 1852-7310.

In the context of the problems of power relationships and intersubjectivity, we found it appropriate to expose a study about violence. In this study we expect to gather seven clinical researches in which the David Liberman algorithm (DLA) was applied to the analysis of samples belonging to different types of subjects that were involved, in some way, in violent scenes. Not only the samples but also the procedures, the strategies of analysis and the instruments were different, so it became necessary to carry out a critical work to make compatible their results, in the intention of studying violence from the perspective of intersubjectivity. First we will expose the definitions and the method, and then the concrete investigations, with a comment referred to each sample, the strategies, the specific instruments of the DLA and the procedures implemented. Finally, we will present a synthesis that expects to articulate the different partial findings.

Keywords : Violence; Intersubjectivity; Strategies of research; Procedures.
