Abstract

TORRES, Santiago J. Political Psychology: Fernando de la Rúa and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, Their Expression Styles on Dealing with the Subjects of International Politics and Economy in Their Assumption Speeches. Subj. procesos cogn. [online]. 2013, vol.17, n.2, pp.156-173. ISSN 1852-7310.

This work is the fragment of a larger research, whose object is the assumption discourses of the Mercosur presidents, from the year 2000 to the present. The categories analyzed are two, enunciations referring to Economy and to International Relations of the country. The present article focuses on only two assumption discourses of argentine presidents, Fernando de la Ra and Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. The methodology of discourse analysis, specifically on the speech act and word net levels, is the David Liberman algorithm. The method is applied to a fragment, proposed by inter-judge deliberation, since it's they who determine the nuclear idea as well as the complementary ones for each theme in each discourse.

Keywords : Political Psychology; David Liberman algorithm; Discourse analysis; Assumption discourses.
