Abstract
ORDUZ GUALDRON, Frank Steward. Victimization and sexual violence during the armed conflict in Colombia. Subj. procesos cogn. [online]. 2015, vol.19, n.2, pp.173-186. ISSN 1852-7310.
This aim of this article is to show the victimological analysis of the sexual violence that occurred during the Colombian conflict. A qualitative, correlational approach and a phenomenological design were applied for the analysis of the information provided by institutions involved in the care of victims and representatives of associations of the victims of the northern area of Santander. It was found that in the area, care programs have limitations to connect with rural areas as well as regarding the supply of institutions serving this population, a situation that increases the likelihood of secondary victimisation on the part of the schemes of assistance to victims of the armed conflict, implemented by governmental and non-governmental entities in the light of forensic psychology and victimology, specifically. This type of violence requires the implementation of care strategies in rural areas with “differential approach” in order to address cultural differences in the population.
