Abstract
GOLDBERG, Jorge A. Progress in the construction of an instrument to assess resilience in children with HIV vertical transmission. Subj. procesos cogn. [online]. 2017, vol.21, n.1, pp.67-83. ISSN 1852-7310.
This work reviews progress in the construction of an instrument capable of capturing the current mood of children affected by HIV contracted by maternal transmission. The instrument can detect current mood in the play scene and concrete dialogue between patient and his therapist. It consists in an operationalization of the concepts of resilience and trauma. It´s instructive with respect to: 1) specific content of the scenes, and 2) mood in the scenes, as related to concentration, relaxation. Both are inherent to the resilient attitude. It specifies, in turn, characteristics of the traumatic attitude, characterized by absence of such scenes, because of moods such as apathy or catharsis. This instrument has been conceived within the theoretical foundations of psychoanalysis, admitting that the two categories that we consider (resilient attitude/ traumatic attitude) are a derivation, respectively, of the struggle between the life drive and the death drive.
