Abstract

PEREZ ZAMBON, Silvina. Person in the rain test: progress in the development of a procedure to study the main defense in scenarios of helplessness. Subj. procesos cogn. [online]. 2017, vol.21, n.2, pp.184-204. ISSN 1852-7310.

In the present work we show a summary of the ongoing research process concerning the analysis of graphic responses to the Person in the rain test (PRT) in a sample composed of 500 cases taken from a workplace environment. The mentioned process is part of the author’s future doctoral thesis. The established goal to detect the main defense in scenarios of helplessness required a procedure to operationalize Freudian concepts in this projective technique, with the support of the David Liberman algorithm instruments (DLA).

Keywords : Person in the rain; Projective techniques; Helplessness; David Liberman algorithm (DLA); Psychoanalysis.
