To facilitate estimation of trade volume of standing Prosopis alba, we calculated the commercial morphic coefficient, for which diameters of 244 trees were measured at different stem heights (DBHDiameter at Breast Height) in plantations of 6, 9 and 17 years of age. We used a linear regression analysis as a statistical tool, and using a simple mathematical relationship we determined a correction coefficient to estimate the volume from DBH.
