Abstract

LOSIGGIO, Daniela. Love, Honour and Recognition: Feminist interpretations of Hegelian Political Theory. Rev. latinoam. filos. [online]. 2022, vol.48, n.2, pp.51-60.  Epub Dec 01, 2022. ISSN 1852-7353.  http://dx.doi.org/10.36446/rlf2022332.

The starting point of this work is the thesis that Hegel’s ideas about love and honor, as well as the Hegelian notion of recognition, are today a fundamental supply for feminist political theory. To demonstrate that idea, we will take the “double look” method: on the one hand, we will offer an overview of the place of women in Hegel’s work; on the other, we will seek to demonstrate the political productivity of many of his ideas in contemporary feminist thought.

Keywords : Hegelian political theory; women; recognition; love; honor.
