The purpose of these notes is to reflect upon the ethnographic experiences I had throughout a fieldwork I conducted with homeless people in Madrid, Spain. Trying to illuminate central aspects in the construction process of disciplinary knowledge, the text is structured around key axes in the anthropological work such as reflexivity, interviews as research techniques and participant observation.
