The aim of this paper is to estimate differences in educational deprivation between boys and girls, beneficiaries and non beneficiaries, of the program Universal Child Allowance. This study uses data from the National Survey of Social Protection (ENAPROSS Spanish acronym) that identifies recipients directly, to assess the impact over educational deprivation indicators and over a summary indicator of these deprivations. Results reveal strong gender disparities in educational deprivation confirming some previous inquiries results.
