Abstract

EIRIS, Ariel Alberto. El jurista pedro José Agrelo y su colaboración en el proyecto  de constitución elaborado por la comisión oficial en la asamblea del año XIII. Rev. hist. derecho [online]. 2015, n.50. ISSN 1853-1784.

Pedro Jose Agrelo (Buenos Aires, Argentina, June 28, 1776 - Montevideo, Uruguay, July 23, 1846) was a remarkable figure with distinct political and intellectual trajectory in the Río de la Plata , where he developed his activities.  Although extraordinary, the study of his life and work has generally been omitted in history.  His standing represents a particular and complex case affected by the changes in the development and understanding of ideas, in addition to the socio-political practices that affected his professional development and political participation. The objective of this paper (or study) is to focus on Agrelo 's perspective and stand during the Assembly of 1813 including his legal classifications and notions that he publicly expressed or documented that were the foundation for the Constitution written by the Official Commission in which he participated.

Keywords : Assembly of the Year XIII - Pedro José Agrelo - Proyect of Constitution - May Revolution.
