Abstract

QUINTIAN, Juan Ignacio. The strengthen of the provincial State. Agencies, citizenship and public sphere in Salta between Caseros and Pavón, 1852 - 1864. Rev. hist. derecho [online]. 2017, n.53. ISSN 1853-1784.

The following article analyzes the impact brought by the enactment of the Constitution of the province of Salta in the formation of a new political order, taking under consideration two main aspects: on the one hand, budget and State agencies; by the other, citizenship and public sphere. The implementation of these new institutions in a political context threatened by frequent civil wars had unforeseen consequences that, however, contributed to the consolidation of the provincial state.
