Abstract

ALVARADO, Mariana. (Un)certain Feminisms. Cuyo-anu. filos. argent. am. [online]. 2019, vol.36, n.2, pp.149-174.  Epub Nov 30, 2020. ISSN 1853-3175.

Apropos of a writing-reading decolonizing exercise that restore the collective locus of enunciation into the thinker-militant-academic-activist women tension, this writing gives in to the cadence of certain voices, sayings, and doings from the South and ties conceptual knots between academic and activist women.

Some working assumptions from Gilda Luongo, Alejandra Ciriza, Mary Louise Pratt, Rossi Braidotti, and Valeria Flores regarding the possibilities of a Latin American feminism and the way our position as subject of a saying/hearing coloniality promote an epistemology of the South, allow us to take the question about the identity off-center and to recognize ourselves. The uncertain feminisms or rhapsodic feminisms occur in the contact zone that promotes new forms of productivity derived from ancestral theoretical practices: the meeting in the word that moves about from the women’s experience.

Keywords : Feminisms from the South; Latin American feminist epistemologies; Nomad thinking; Contact zone; Spawning spaces.
