Abstract

The textile traditions in the province of Catamarca, are part of a cultural identity formed from very vigorous elements from different origins. These are permeated both styles and techniques of pieces of exquisite beauty and quality. They also highlight the history of textile manufacturing industries and contributed to the development of this activity, considered by locals as part of their idiosyncrasy that-unfortunately, over the years tends to disappear.
