Abstract:

Faced with certain apocalyptic positions from the school environment that predict the decline of the printed book against the presence of digital culture, the concept of multimodality (Jewitt, 2005) and the commitment to a didactic construction in the field of reading and writing developed from that concept, propose productive horizons in the territory of the classroom and the school library.
