The present work aims to give in account certain shifts that are happening at the intersection given by the fields of contemporary visual arts and cinema. The deployment, on one hand, is the result of the deconstruction of cinematic device, that is, on the evidence of acid criticism of its productive and receptive logic and, by another, in the capture of proposals developed in the field of contemporary art (installation, performance). There is a feedback within both fields so it can be point out that they find in institutions of contemporary art and in its display circuits (biennial, galleries and museums), a privileged area of reception.
