This analysis responds to the thought of a humanist current regarding under-standing and its links to praxis, focused on design. The extensive awareness of the designers in training is unavoidable through a teaching that encourages reflection about them-selves, their temporality and spatiality, their context and the important role that knowledge and research play in it. In order to understand the design as a theory, as a process and as a result, the unconscious vestiges must be reviewed, since the research is unquestionably found in each of the actions of a designer.
