Abstract

DE LA BARRERA MEDINA, Mónica Susana  and  CARRILLO CHAVEZ, Irma. Factores que inciden en investigaciones para Diseño. Cuad. Cent. Estud. Diseñ. Comun., Ensayos [online]. 2020, n.82, pp.142-155. ISSN 1853-3523.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18682/cdc.vi82.3719.

Due to the fact that the areas where design intervenes is so broad, how in culture, health, ecology, law, science, sports and in general, any activity generated by the human being, the universe to investigate is vast and students arrive to be afflicted or frustrated by not being able to diagnose a specific design problem to carry out research at any of its levels, be it undergraduate or postgraduate, or its profiles as graphic, industrial or architectural, to name a few.

This text analyzes from the experience of two teachers who teach graphic design subjects in various universities in Mexico, some of the possible factors that influence this decision making to choose research projects, reflecting on the possibility of encouraging the student to expand its frames of reference, with the purpose of facilitating the detection of a possible vein that can offer an original, pertinent and beneficial research for those who receive it.

Keywords : Research; design; knowledge; factors; decisions..
