Beggining of 1993, Chilean Government started to fund editorial production with the creation of the National Fund for the Promotion of Books and Reading. The aim of this study is to identify and to quantify Chilean university publishers adjudications between 2013 to 2018, making reference to the characteristics of these calls, amounts assigned and their relation to the total number of projects selected from natural persons and/or legal persons. It is observed low participation of these entities in the Fund by the number of projects selected each year. Further information is necessary in order to identify the cause of these results.
