CASTRO, Jorge. La Industria Textil y de la Moda, Responsabilidad Social y la Agenda 2030. Cuad. Cent. Estud. Diseñ. Comun., Ensayos [online]. 2021, n.100, pp.66-84.  Epub Jan 05, 2021. ISSN 1853-3523.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18682/cdc.vi100.3986.

The textile and fashion industry is considered after the oil industry as the most polluting and harmful to the environment, given the accelerated pace of production and consumption, coupled with indecent working conditions that do not contribute to the construction of a good quality of life of its workers.

It is necessary and essential in this regard, that companies must increasingly integrate good social responsibility practices into their objectives, which means that subject to current regulations, harmoniously integrate economic, ethical aspects, taking into account people, the community and the environment, in the entire value chain they generate.

Keywords : CSR; sustainable; production; consumption; textile; fashion; economy..
