Abstract

D´ORTENZIO, Vanessa Melina. Hiperconectados. La señalética y su impacto en los consensos sociales. Cuad. Cent. Estud. Diseñ. Comun., Ensayos [online]. 2022, n.105, pp.141-163.  Epub Mar 01, 2022. ISSN 1853-3523.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18682/cdc.vi105.4191.

Signage is a cultural product that has a strong impact on social consensus, as it implies a common code of interpretation and recognition while defining certain behavior patterns. Through Transition Design as a theoretical support and referential framework, addressing ideas from Placemaking and Emotional Design, this work aims to reflect on the relationship between visual semantics, morphology and accessibility. Following this line, and based on the leverage points enunciated by Donella Meadows, the vision of the future proposed in this project is identified along with possible actions from which the design can intervene, through new models and methods of representation, in the concretion of a paradigm shift towards a more inclusive society.

Keywords : Transition Design; Signage; Inclusion; Accessibility; Emotional Design; Sustainability; Placemaking; Social Innovation; Representation; Identity..
