Abstract

PAEZ, Daniela. Las historietistas argentinas. Trayectorias, espacios y dinámicas de trabajo desde los ‘40 a la actualidad. Cuad. Cent. Estud. Diseñ. Comun., Ensayos [online]. 2022, n.107, pp.40-74.  Epub May 22, 2022. ISSN 1853-3523.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18682/cdc.vi107.4202.

The dynamics of the professional work of the cartoonists and comic writers have mutated deeply, in a space traditionally of men. During its first decades of existence, it tended to deny and make women invisible and it was only after the seventies that it began to grant them some recognition. In this framework, we will try to identify the particular characteristics of the artistic and labor practices of the women artists. We will

also analyze some relevant cases that allow us to observe the convergences and divergences between the feminine and masculine tasks in the newsrooms, and their transformations through time to arrive at the current publishing models.
