The present study is a mention to the theoretical concept of “technical reproductibility” within the method of phenomenological architecture. The concept is framed in different twentieth century contexts, becoming a referent in contemporary aesthetic theories that will be essential to locate the function of design in images, spaces, times and affection. The objective will be to reinterpret this concept phenomenologically in the light of design techniques, from graphic design and publicity to fashion or architecture. The conclusion will closely connect design with the artistic avantgarde and its revolutions, taking both a positive and a negative approach. A phenomenological repositioning with a clear pedagogical tone can promote a theoretical and methodological reflection on creativity, emotions and space, giving a new approach to the phenomenon of design.
