The purpose of this text is to think about the evolution of the Bauhaus characterizing the five phases that the institution went through, in order to specify its ideas, define its methods, recognize its professors, managers and students. As a historical object, the Bauhaus suffered the consequences of a time of great conflict and change, all situations that were taken as opportunities for the school to reinvent the relationships between art, crafts, architecture and design.
