The objective of this work is to analyze the contribution of local musicians / musicians in the design, negotiation and implementation of cultural policies that the General Directorate of Culture, Arts and Entertainment (DGCAyE), of the Municipality of Avellaneda, designed to contribute to equality in access, participation and cultural production. In this way, by exploring the articulation between the DGCAyE and the local musicians / musicians who participated in municipal instances of debate, it is hoped to contribute to the study of the crossings between culture and design.

Cultural policies are considered as a field of negotiation and dispute in which not only state agents intervene, in this way, I think of musicians / musicians as actors that assume a central role in social design. Focus will be placed on the First Forum of Culture and on the Management and Coordination Table of Musical Activities of Avellaneda -which sought to promote the participatory, organizational and collective work of local musicians / music- and on cultural policies aimed at local musical activity that emerged there. To do this, between June 2017 and June 2018 I did field work in the town of Avellaneda and analyzed primary and secondary sources.
