Abstract

OLAIZOLA, Andres. Las aventuras de la Increíblemente Pequeña: trayectorias transmediales de una heroína errante. Cuad. Cent. Estud. Diseñ. Comun., Ensayos [online]. 2023, n.117, pp.84-102.  Epub Mar 01, 2023. ISSN 1853-3523.

This article continues and deepens the analysis carried out in our previous article, “Las heroínas transmediales de Alba Cromm, de Vicente Luis Mora, y La muerte me da, de Cristina Rivera Garza”, part of the volumen El camino de la heroína: el arquetipo femenino universal para un nuevo paradigma (2021).

The character of the mysterious and outlaw Increíblemente Pequeña appears for the first time in the novel La muerte me da (2007), by Cristina Rivera Garza, but soon begins to err by texts, media, genres and languages. Increíblemente Pequeña is the starting point of the trajectory of a transmedial and transfictional system, which includes photonovels, telegrams, poems, etc. Like every self-respecting heroine, Increíblemente Pequeña has a headquarters: No hay tal lugar. Utópicos contemporáneos, Rivera Garza's blog. From there she goes to adventures, where she challenges and transgresses generic conventions of all kinds.

In the following article, we will analyze the transmedial and transfictional processes that unfold in Increíblemente Pequeña’s adventures, within the framework of the poetics of the escrituras colindantes developed by Cristina Rivera Garza.

Keywords : Transmediality; Transfictionality; Digital Writings; Neighbouring Writings; Blogs; 21ST Century Mexican Literature; Rivera Garza..
