Abstract
CARMIGNANI, Marcos. La función de las alusiones a la épica homérica en el Satyricon de Petronio: la "dialogización" y la parodia como criterios de autoridad. Argos [online]. 2009, vol.32, n.1, pp.111-131. ISSN 1853-6379.
In Petronius' Satyricon the parody of Homer is framed in a highly complex system of relationships. Usually Petronio proceeds through "dialogization" of different genres (epic, Greek novel, pastoral, pantomime, Roman satire, tragedy) to create an "ambivalent" discourse. Moreover, this type of parody does not seek to ridicule the epic model, but the characters, who are the victims of the author's malicious irony. Indeed, his social position is protected by his admirable mastery of the literary tradition: a way to mark criteria of authority is given by the allusions to Homer in a very complex system of relationships.
