This paper goes over the public impact of The Art of Living in Argentina, a neo-Hinduism socio-religious movement focused on personal and spiritual growth. Recent media controversy around the visit of Ravi Shankar is analyzed, taking into account personal wellbeing, economy and politics as key dimensions of conflict. Finally, the paper discusses the regulation of non-Catholic religious diversity including particular national and class perspectives, as well as the process of redefining boundaries between religion and lifestyles.
