Abstract

NAVARRO NICOLETTI, Felipe. Communication projects in the bishoprics of Hesayne and De Nevares: magazines, radios and community practices (1979 – 1995). Soc. relig. [online]. 2021, vol.31, n.58, pp.51-51. ISSN 0326-9795.

As well as Miguel Hesayne in Río Negro and Jaime de Nevares in Neuquén carried out innovative communication projects in their bishoprics in the 80s that are consistent with the pastoral line that seeks to approach the community. In the following work we will seek to delve into each project, its similarities, replicas and differentiations; that allows us to delve into a particular way of practicing communication from the community and alternative modes. The examples of the magazines De Pie en Viedma y Comunidad en Neuquén and the community radio stations Encuentro en Viedma and Enrique Angelelli en Neuquén are key to understand the editorial line of these communication projects from the Catholic Church and with Third World Bishops. These communication media reflect a how and what to communicate, type of content to transmit and lay the foundations for community, popular and alternative communication within North Patagonia. Under an exploratory methodology of documents referring to the selected media, as well as semi-structured interviews with referents of these spaces, we will seek to make a comparative analysis, as well as descriptive. Each project will have a section, which will later serve for another section dedicated to comparative analysis and a finally reflection on practices.
