Abstract

Oxypetalum venustum H. A. Keller (Apocynaceae: Asclepiadoideae: Asclepiadae: Oxypetalinae) is described and illustrated based on a specimen found in Corrientes Province. Moreover, two new synonyms are proposed, and an identification key to the species currentlydocumented for the Argentinian flora is provided.
