Abstract

VIGONI, Luciano  and  TOBIN, Patricia. Territorial Grassroots-based Work: New Configurations for a Program in pandemic times. Temas debates (En línea) [online]. 2020, n.40, suppl.1, pp.255-264. ISSN 1853-984X.

Without ignoring the accumulated in the territorial relationships and considering the importance of continuing with the presence of the municipal State teams in the neighborhood networks, the “New Opportunity” Program designs a plan of actions that contribute to thinking about health strategies for the day-to-day life with youth groups and program companion members. This article begins with explaining the essence of the “New Opportunity” social intervention program with young people who neither study nor work and who live in neighborhoods with depressed socio-economic-housing conditions –nowadays called "popular neighborhoods"– to give greater content and meaning to the planned intervention actions.
