Abstract

The South Atlantic War was a watershed in contemporary Argentine history that catalyzed the return to democracy and determined international relations. Taking into account this event, this article aims to analyze the policies that democratic governments developed to the Question of the Malvinas Islands since 1983, considering the mainly positions towards bilateral cooperation with the UK and the deployment of multilateral strategies.
