Abstract

ISOLA, Nicolás José. Académicos en educación: Intervenciones críticas en tiempos de miedo (1976-1983). Propuesta educativa (Online) [online]. 2013, n.40, pp.111-122. ISSN 1995-7785.

This article aims to describe certain debates that took place during the military dictatorship in the academic field of Education in Argentina. The years after the military coup of 1976 generated a large spread in the general Argentine academic space. Even when it was not able to envision the end of this tragic process and the possibility of a democratic restoration a group of Education academics began to hold meetings with the purpose to discuss and express their thoughts on the future of the Education system and national Education. In these spaces were put under discussion also issues related with the role of academics, social inequality, and the relationship between the school and policies. Here, returning actors interventions of those years, want to be able to account specifically for discussions related to issues spanning the academic field of Education in that period so convulsed.
