Abstract

LINNE, Joaquín. En torno a la integración tecnológica en espacios educativos: ¿Nuevos problemas y nuevas soluciones?. Propuesta educativa (Online) [online]. 2018, n.49, pp.73-83. ISSN 1995-7785.

This article analyzes the ways in which institutions, teachers and students integrate information and communication technologies (ICT) in educational spaces of the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA). At the methodological level, interviews, observations and a survey of students and teachers of public secondary schools were conducted. Through a review of the state of the art and of some problematic nuclei of the empirical evidence analysis, this work intends to contribute to the discussions between education and ICT. Starting to investigate in the concrete use of the two main devices that the students have (netbooks and mobile phones), the ways in which the integration of ICTs in the classrooms of middle-level public schools are problematized. Among the results, it is observed that netbooks are used sporadically due to the inconveniences that its implementation entails. Regarding mobile phones, it is observed that teachers adopt three strategies: 1) deposit them in boxes at the entrance of the school or the classroom to pick them up when leaving; 2) only allow its use with teacher authorization; 3) the most widespread, allowing its use without restrictions, as long as there are no interruptions in the class.
