Abstract

Since the restitution of democracy in Argentina, the educational system has been reconfigured as a consequence of the confluence of multiple factors: different political orientations, the ways in which the demands of society have been processed, the power strategies of the different actors involved, the dynamics that mobilize the plurality of spheres of society, national and international mutations of pedagogical paradigms and, of course, budgetary restrictions or bonanzas. The purpose of this text is to identify and analyze some of the trends present in the system that have consolidated during this period. Among which the constant growth of all levels of education and the persistence of inequality are the most salient. The article monitors what has been done and characterizes the current state of the system.
