Abstract

LOZANO RUBELLO, Gabriela. Current Fields of Intervention and Belongingof UBA Teachers. Propuesta educativa (Online) [online]. 2019, n.51, pp.119-130. ISSN 1995-7785.

This work explores the different fields of intervention and belonging of women professors that work nowadays in the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in either the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, the Faculty of Social Sciences or the Faculty of Law. From the analysis of testimonies of oral history, fields that professors go through in their professional career are described, not in an evolutionary perspective, but vital, in which various tasks linked to work are observed. The objective is to identify the specificities that constitute these fields, as well as the ways in which they are articulated. Expand the knowledge about the Argentine professors' experience from a gender perspective reveals a complex universe of political and social tensions.

Keywords : Gender; University; Professors; Professional career; Oral history.
