Abstract

ITHURBURU, VIRGINIA. Research on Digital Policies and Educational Systems in Latin America. From the Evidence of the 1-to-1 Model to the Exploration of Hybrid Models. Propuesta educativa (Online) [online]. 2021, n.56, pp.28-39. ISSN 1995-7785.

This work is part of one of the research lines that make up the Center for Public Policy Research in Education, Communication and Technology directed by María Teresa Lugo at the National University of Quilmes. The line in which the work is framed deals with inquiring about what was investigated and is being investigated in Latin America on models of integration of digital technologies in national educational systems? This question starts from considering that the field of research in educational public policies is necessary to guarantee the right to education and to base decision-making on public policy that contribute to it. In particular, in this advance of the research that is presented, some of the results on the studies of digital educational policies based on the 1 to 1 model in Latin America are shared and reflections are formulated to begin the exploration of the hybrid models that began to become visible and emerge in the formal education systems during the COVID-19 Pandemic in that region.

Keywords : Digital policies; Digital education; 1 to 1 Model; Latin America; COVID-19 Pandemic.
