This paper analyzes the diversity in the provision of national content in Argentina in the period from April 2019 to April 2022 in seven transnational platforms representative of different types of actors: digital natives (Netflix, Amazon Prime); related to traditional content creation actors (HBO Max, Star+, Paramount+) and associated to telecommunications and data transport companies (Claro Video and Movistar TV). Three dimensions were considered to observe diversity: the presence of a national content section; the number of national original works; and the identification of the production companies that produce original content. The study concludes that the diversity offered by the platforms is limited: only two of the seven have national sections, the proportion of national original productions is very marginal in the catalogs and the production companies with which they work are few and are repeated between platforms.
