This study analyzed in depth a set of images mediated about lynchings caused by attempted robberies during the covid-19 pandemic in Argentina. The objective was to investigate the visuals built on these actions in online graphic media. The hypothesis that guided the work held that the nudity of the lynched subjects was the main feature of the images. In this sense, one of the main conclusions reached was that the humiliation caused by public nudity contributed to anesthetizing the gaze of the media viewer.
