Abstract

Meckel’s diverticulum is the most common congenital defect of the gastrointestinal tract. It may remain asymptomatic or may cause acute abdomen requiring surgery due to inflammation, infection or mechanical obstruction. We report case of small bowel obstruction produced by an internal hernia generated by a Meckel’s diverticulum in the foramen of Winslow.
