Abstract

The period corresponding to the Third Reich (1933-1945), when the German nation was under the domain of the Nazi Regime, has been characterized by a high degree of intolerance, domination, extermination in earth and, also, by "voluntary" involvement of children and young people, that from the earliest age were educated for the unconditional engagement in the fight by Nazi ideals. For this purpose, theories - supposedly proven - were incorporated into the education so as to make it the great vehicle driver's desired domination. This Article seeks to if, from the literature review, submit a study around the German educational system during the Third Reich, focusing on their assumptions and routings, with the objective to seek understanding about the real role of education in shaping the ideas and behavior of children and young people who lived at the time in Nazi Germany. The bibliographic material analyzed brought several possibilities which, although not conclusive, allowed the understanding around the effectiveness of educational arrangements used by the Nazis to achieve the intended purpose. It can be concluded that the Nazi education fulfill the role that attributed to him, if instructing him to impregnate the mentalities children and juveniles, transforming the children and the young German in "good Nazis".
