Abstract

BUSTAMANTE VISMARA, José. State building and school development (Córdoba, Buenos Aires y Entre Ríos, 1820 - 1850). Hist. educ. anu. [online]. 2016, vol.17, n.1, pp.50-71. ISSN 2313-9277.

The article analyzes public schools supported by the provinces of Córdoba, Entre Ríos and Buenos Aires between 1820 and 1850 from a comparative point of view. Descriptive and quantitative traits are articulated with an inquiry about the links that can be established between local areas and provincial governments. The focus is on the school administration and is intended to explore aspects that relate to state-building.
