Abstract
GARRO, María Martha. Emergence and origin of Non-University Teacher Training in San Luis (FDNU): Tensions between inclusion and exclusion practices (1984-1999). Hist. educ. anu. [online]. 2020, vol.21, n.2, pp.24-41. ISSN 2313-9277.
The beginning of democracy in the province of San Luis marked the point of emergence of the creation of a group of teachers in order to satisfy the lack of such professionals for the secondary school. These institutions replicated the operation of Secondary Schools until the enactment of the Federal Education Act (1993) and of the Higher Education Act (1995); such events rolled out a set of operations for the transformation of Teacher Training in San Luis. These institutions had to undergo a complex reconversion mechanism whose effect was the government's decision to close the seventeen existing Teacher Training Institutes that had operated until then and to create two new centers in 1999, one in San Luis and one in Villa Mercedes.
This work is one of the research lines in the framework of a doctoral thesis in Education, in which we aim at realizing this reconstruction from a micro history of Education, analyzing documentary sources making use of Michel Foucault's toolbox.
