Abstract
ARTIGAS, María Emilia. Filiation as a reading route in La distancia que nossepara by Renato Cisneros. CELEHIS [online]. 2022, n.43, pp.21-30. ISSN 2313-9463.
Luis Federico Cisneros Vizquerra, the Gaucho Cisneros, was a general of the Peruvian Army and Minister of War between 1981 and 1983, years in which the Peruvian armed conflict began (1980-2000). He is also the protagonist of La distancia que nossepara, (2016) a novel in which his son, Renato Cisneros, tries to understand and problematize the figure of his father and the influence of this in his subjectivity as a writer. To analyze the relationship between father and creative vocation we will attend to some scenes of reading and writing where intertextual keys are combined with authors such as Paul Auster, Carlo Collodi and the Old Testament, as well as passages where their first links with writing, punishment and freedom to observe the mechanisms of self-figuration are established (Miraux, 2005; Alberca Serrano, 2008; Amícola, 2008). The textual subject presented by Renato Cisneros becomes a reader-writer immersed in compositional self-reflection through the exercise of memory, the fictionalization of reading (Zanetti, 2002) and intertextuality (Bajtín,1979; Todorov, 1981; Genette, 1982). In this way, the paternal life experience as an object of representation becomes the space where the author investigates his own literary work.
