Abstract

MOSQUERA, Mariano Ernesto. La crónica en tiempos de cognitariado. Alta rotación de Laura Meradi. CELEHIS [online]. 2022, n.44, pp.13-13. ISSN 2313-9463.

The objective of the following work is to interrogate Alta rotación (2010) by Laura Meradi as an instance of the transformation of the genericity of the Argentine chronicle as a result of the interaction of elements of literate culture and cyberculture. The figure of the "cultural producer" and the "cognitariat" appear as fundamental emergents of a textuality that makes precarious work both the thematic focus and the ethical-formal nucleus of the modes of narration in late neoliberalism. Thus, between gonzo journalism and an imagery that summons the internal debates of Marxism, Alta rotación is inserted from the 21st century into a rich tradition that links literature and work.

Keywords : Laura Meradi; chronicle; cognitariat; cyberculture; literary extractivism.
