Abstract

REPETTO, Carlos  and  VASSALLO, Miguel. Evaluación de la experiencia de la Cooperativa Agraria Mundo Azul. Pampa [online]. 2014, n.10, pp.219-245. ISSN 2314-0208.

One of the goals of the Instituto Nacional de Colonización (National Institute for Land Settlement) is to promote experiences of associative character, particularly the utilization of land by cooperatives as a way to overcome some of the difficulties that family farms face due to their small scale production. The aim of this work is to systematize and to evaluate from a sustainable development approach, the experience of the Cooperative CAMAZ which uses the land collectively. In this work we evaluate the economic, social and environmental dimensions as well as the impact on the production of the individual dairy units of the members of the cooperative. A triangulation of cuali-quantitative compilation methods and the secondary information was used as information methodological strategy. In conclusion it is argued that this type of associative experiences besides generating production improvements in the dairy units develops human and social capital in the community.
