Abstract
GRIGNOLI, Daniela and MANZINI, Antonio. Un territorio para el desarrollo. Pampa [online]. 2016, n.13, pp.77-96. ISSN 2314-0208.
The decline of the theoretical paradigms that defined the development of the second half of the Twentieth Century has produced new approaches that have become, overtime, strategic for characterizing local development policies. A new sensitivity towards the territorial capital of each region grows hand in hand with the importance, for a local area, to enhance the resources on a material and symbolic level; at the same time, emerges the importance to valorize the factors of identity and the participation of local people according to a perspective that, starting from the bottom up, involves the civil society in the processes of social change. The imperative seems to rely on one's own strengths in spite of the constraints of globalization and of a complexity that, on a local scale, is necessary to keep under control; this can be done in those very places where forms of endogenous development can be created from below.
